Final invoices are issued after project evaluation and scope confirmation. Exact quotes depend on word count, complexity, genre, and service level. NDA Policy: Before any publishing process begins, Autonomy Books offers a Non-Disclosure Agreement to protect your work, ideas, and confidential information. Clients are encouraged to request an NDA prior to sharing manuscript content or proprietary concepts.
We collect information you voluntarily provide when contacting us, submitting a project inquiry, or using our website. This may include your name, email address, and project details. We do not collect payment information directly â all transactions are handled securely by Stripe.

Any manuscript, story concept, outline, or creative material you share with Autonomy Books remains your exclusive intellectual property. We do not claim any rights to your work. Upon request, we will execute a Non-Disclosure Agreement before reviewing any submitted material.
We implement reasonable measures to protect your information. However, no method of transmission over the internet is 100% secure. We encourage you to exercise caution when sharing sensitive materials electronically.
Our website uses Stripe for payment processing and Netlify for hosting. These services have their own privacy policies, which we encourage you to review.

Autonomy Books provides professional publishing services including story development, ghostwriting, editing, book design, publishing setup, and marketing. All services are rendered on a project basis following written agreement and payment confirmation.
All creative work you bring to Autonomy Books â including manuscripts, concepts, outlines, and finished books â remains your exclusive intellectual property. Autonomy Books claims no ownership or licensing rights over your work at any time.
Clients who sell independently through platforms such as Amazon KDP retain 100% of their royalties. Clients who elect to sell through the Autonomy Books catalogue agree to a 20% revenue share on net sales after print costs.
Services are billed according to the agreed quote. A deposit may be required before work commences. For a limited time, all projects are billed at the minimum listed rate. Final invoices reflect actual scope upon project completion.
Autonomy Books treats all client submissions with strict confidentiality. Non-Disclosure Agreements are available upon request and must be executed before any manuscript or creative content is reviewed.
Revision rounds are included as specified in each project agreement. Additional revisions beyond the agreed scope are available at an agreed hourly rate.
Project timelines are estimates provided in good faith. Autonomy Books is not liable for delays outside of reasonable control. Clients will be notified promptly of any material changes to agreed timelines.
Autonomy Books is not liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from the use of our services. Our total liability shall not exceed the amount paid for the specific service in question.
These terms are governed by the laws of the Province of Alberta, Canada.

Important: Due to the professional, custom, and labour-intensive nature of publishing services, Autonomy Books operates a no-refund policy once work has commenced on a project.
All book sales through the Autonomy Books website are final. Due to the digital nature of our products, we do not offer refunds on completed purchases. Please review book descriptions carefully before purchasing.
Refunds on service fees are not available once work has commenced. This applies to all services including story development, ghostwriting, editing, design, publishing setup, and marketing.
If a project is cancelled before any work begins, a partial refund may be considered on a case-by-case basis, less any administrative processing fees.
Project deposits are non-refundable. They secure your place in our workflow and cover initial consultation and evaluation time.
If you are dissatisfied with any deliverable, please contact us through our support form within 14 days of delivery. We are committed to working collaboratively to resolve concerns within the scope of the original project agreement.
Refunds will only be considered in cases where Autonomy Books has demonstrably failed to deliver the agreed scope of services and has not made reasonable efforts to resolve the issue.
